Q: How do I apply for this program?
A: Please contact us directly. Our dedicated staff will provide you information and
assist you in planning the course.
Q: Do you accept the individual application?
A: Individual registration is only allowed for the Winter/Summer 3-week Courses held every March and August. Courses held other than those times are only available for group registration. Come to NTNU’s Mandarin Training Center to learn Chinese with you friends or classmates!
Information on Winter/Summer 3-week Courses will be posted in the Latest News on our website 3 months before the courses start.
Q: Does the tuition fee cover accommodation and meal expenses?
A: The tuition fee covers language and culture classes and field trips. Accommodation
and meals are not included. We will assist in the accommodation arrangement or
recommend a local agent catering to your needs for accommodation and activities
after school. If you need information about accommodation arrangement, please
contact us directly.
Q: Do I need to apply for a visa?
A: For a stay of shorter than 30 days, visas are not required for citizens from certain
countries. For more information, please check with your local Taipei Economic and
Cultural Office (TECO). Visit www.taiwanembassy.org to find the TECO nearest to
you.
Q: Will students be given a certificate after their studies are completed?
A: Students will be issued a record of study and a certification in Chinese and English
at the end of their studies.
Q: Are the programs and prices flexible? Can a program be adjusted to suit my needs?
A: The content of the programs can be adjusted to meet the needs and interests of
each group.
Q: If our schedule changes and we are unable to complete the whole program after
completing the registration, is the tuition refundable?
A: A 70% refund of tuition is given prior to the first day of the program. A 50% refund
of tuition is returned for requests submitted before one-fourth of the program is
completed. No refund is given after one-fourth of the program is completed.
